Azure View has all of the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, AC in the bedrooms, and everything (we hope) that will make your Caribbean vacation memorable. There are 2 bedrooms – one with a King-sized bed, and the second has twin beds which can also be made into another King bed. The condo complex, Coakley Bay, is built on a steep hill, which makes the view of Buck Island and the surrounding Caribbean water unobstructed and amazing! There is a large pool, great restaurant (which is open seasonally), and even a beauty shop on site! The property is located on the east end of the island, and is less than 6 miles to Christiansted, where there are great shops, restaurants, and cultural and recreational activities. There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive! About the Owners: We are lucky enough to be owners of this wonderful condo in St. Croix. We came, and fell in love with the island. When we are here, it feels like another world! Since we have our permanent residence in Maryland, Sara Ledbetter manages the property on St. Croix. She has been a resident of St. Croix for almost 5 years, and is eager to share with you all the local secrets that St. Croix has in store for you during your stay. Why We Bought This Property: We chose St. Croix because of its laid back atmosphere, its beautiful beaches, sea views, incredible dive sites, and friendly people. Where else can you go and experience all of these amazing things without even having a passport? This Coakley Bay condo is our dream come true, and we want to share it with you! The fantastic view of Buck Island, the wonderful breezes, its east end location, and amenities are what sold us on this condo. It is comfortable, and has all of the comforts of home. The condo complex has a large pool, great restaurant, beauty shop, and even its own generator for the occasional power outages. Unique Benefits: The island is so diverse that you can spend one day on the west end beaches enjoying the lush tropical foliage, and then pass cactus on your way to the beaches on the east end. The diving and snorkeling opportunities also vary from the pier in Frederiksted to the coral reefs off Buck Island, to The Wall at Cane Bay, and several wrecks. The restaurants are locally owned and offer everything from cheeseburgers and fries to incredible seafood dishes. There is no shortage of activities on St. Croix. There are three golf courses, several dive shops, and businesses that charter fishing boats, provide snorkeling excursions, and tours of the various parts of the island.
